· Duty Hours Stay in control of your duty hours, fully customisable using rolling duty days, choose when to be advised of an approaching limit. The duty page displays a comprehensive breakdown of your duty with a duty analyzer chart and custom searches.
· Flight Allowances Pilots Pal is the only software that includes a comprehensive customisable flight allowance solution. Whether you are tracking flight pay by the hour, sector pay, factored sector pay or fixed pay for ground school or simulator Pilots Pal simplifies the task and offers comprehensive reports.
· Search Flights The search flight page allows you to perform comprehensive queries and printouts on the data you have stored. This page can also be customized to display the columns and layout that suits your type of flying
· JAR Compliant Printout A familiar traditional JAR compliant logbook printout is available or design your own, Pilots Pal allows you to really create a personal touch. The printout can extend to 2 pages, choose which columns to display, the column order, the name of column, widths, fonts and colours , at the touch of a button you can reset to the standard JAR layout.
· Roster Viewer Most logbook programs are reactive in only allowing you to view past duties, Pilots Pal has a roster feature allowing you to view future duties and possible duty / flight hour violations. Duties and flights can be entered directly from the roster viewer into the add flight pages speeding up data entry. A duty preview tool is provided to allow you to view duty hours for each day in the future just by hovering over the date, this is very useful if you are getting high on duty hours.
· Block Hour Entry Where do I begin? This is probably what you are thinking, you have thousands of hours and don’t wish to enter every flight. Pilots Pal provides a fast Block Hour entry page, enter total hours on each aircraft type and start tracking new flights from today.
· Mobile device Synchronisation Synchronise with Pocket PC 2003, Windows Mobile 5 & 6 * devices using Pilots Pal unique technology. Dock your device, start Pilots Pal and all of your data is seamlessly synchronised including duty hours, flight pay and sector pay. *Windows Mobile 6 Standard is not currently supported
· Backup Data Backing up your important data is made easy and can happen automatically Backup to a network, removable media or another drive on your computer. Pilots Pal creates a new backup file each time you backup, this really gives you control and the ability to restore your data to a previous version.
· FTP Pilots Pal 2008 gives you an additional choice to backup on to an FTP server, this can be your own server or why not use our Remote Data Storage solution, this is a subscription based service allowing you to really ensure your data is safe and the ability to retrieve your data 24/7
· Import & Export to an Excel Spreadsheet It is possible to import your data from an Excel Spreadsheet, a wizard will take you through all of the steps. Duty and flight data can be exported to a spreadsheet. This features requires MS Excel to be installed
· Google Earth Viewer Google Earth features have been incorporated into Pilots Pal, it is possible to fly routes that you have stored in your logbook or create a new route.
