Simulator hours on iPhone vs PC

When entering sim hours on the PC the columns To From and OFF ON are greyed out, which makes sense as all I may want to enter is 4:00 hrs total. The Entry on the iPhone however need a OFF ON and a To / From entry which messes up the format in the printed logbook. Is there any way around this?
