· Roster import improvement– if the stored flight with the same flight number is different, a prompt will be displayed to overwrite the older schedule
· Allowances - if you are tracking allowances by the hour, round up or incremental, there is a new function to allow duty pay to only be paid on return to base. All flights are monitored, when you return to base the allowances will automatically be stored
· Minor bug fix whilst editing Fixed Daily Payments
· It is now possible to split private and commercial flying on the home page. There is an option for each category to add or remove from the home page monthly graph and user defined cumulative totals
· An aircraft recency tracker has been added, this will allow you to monitor take-off and landings for any aircraft type. All of the settings can be customised including an automatic tracker on startup

· Custom columns have been updated, a new column type called a basic column has been introduced to store flight time that isn't to be added to grand totals i.e. a cross country column. Custom columns can now be visible on the add flight page allowing manual entry
· PF/PNF roles can now be attached to operating capacities, you can adjust any capacity so that when it is selected the associated role is set automatically
· The comments box has now changed to a drop down list, when entries are made they will automatically be added to the list, this will simplify future use of the same comment. Comments can also be edited from the edit menu
· Some regional dates were causing an error when trying to import a roster, this has now been fixed
· An error has been reported whilst making several entries on the search flight page, the update method has been changed to correct this

· Choosing the View All option on the logbook page now displays all pages including incomplete pages

Users attempting to check for updates with previous versions will receive an error message.
To get this update:
· Go to your control panel and uninstall Pilots Pal 2008 - this will not erase your data.
· Go to the members area and click the link Pilots Pal 2008 software or go to the main download page and download the software. Future updates can be checked using the normal routine without any error messages.

· Capacities can now be merged together for example Instructor totals can be added to PIC hours. This setting is reflected globally, the help file has some more details
· An optional column called ’Other’ is displayed when capacities are invisible, this column adds all of the invisible columns and displays a total
· Manual duty pay offers more choices to include incremental or round up pay. It is now possible to have a different method to automatically calculate allowances and still add manual duty pay
· Some users may see incorrect allowance payments whilst adding a duty only on the add flight page
· Home page duty display will only show duties stored up until the current date
